Techniques and Modalities

Clients will receive a customized massage and treatment plan based on what they request and what their body needs. Sessions are a unique blend of techniques dedicated to accomplishing client service goals.

  • Designed to either energize or relax the body with gentle, flowing massage strokes. It is the most common type of massage.  Pressure can range from light, medium or deep. 

    • Helps lower stress and anxiety levels,

    • Improves the range of motion in tight muscles or joints and reduces pain levels while promoting relaxation. 

    • Stimulates blood flow,  improves lymphatic drainage, and removes toxic substances from muscle tissue

  • Deep tissue consists of releasing knots and tension in deeper layers of muscle within the body. Knuckles, elbows and massage guns may be used to provide extra pressure and strength needed for deep tissue.

    • Reduces pain associated with muscle tension and knots

    • Helps lower stress and physical stress held in tight muscles

  • Designed for those who live an active lifestyle, sports massage combines deep tissue, trigger point therapy and stretching techniques tailored to each client for pre/post event needs, maintenances, and injury.

  • Cupping therapy involves using a small vessel to create a vacuum under the skin's surface. This method targets blood and healing substances in a particular area for therapeutic benefits.

    • Dry cupping: a suction-only method

    • Running cupping: involves moving suctioned cups around the body after applying oil to massage the desired area

  • Smooth, flat, heated stones are positioned on particular areas of your body. Typically crafted from basalt, a volcanic rock known for its heat retention, these hot massage stones are warmed to temperatures ranging from 130 to 145 degrees.

    • Helps relieve muscle tension and pain

  • A unique method involves using warm, rounded bamboo sticks to target muscle tissue more effectively. By applying pressure to specific points on the body, similar to acupressure or trigger point therapy, using these specialized bamboo tools can help relieve myofascial trigger points, commonly referred to as muscle knots, which are frequent pain triggers.

  • Hydrotherapy is the use of cold or hot water to stimulate, relax, and detoxify the human body.  Cold packs are used to stimulate circulation and reduce inflammation, spasm, and pain. Hot towels and stones are used to warm and soften scar tissue (making the muscle tissues easier to stretch), increase localized blood flow, and reduce muscle tension.

    • Lovely Day (Sweet Aromatics): Coriander, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Jasmine, and Geranium essential oil blend

    • Breathe Deep (Clarifying): Scotch pine, Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oil blend

  • Chair massage is a great alternative to the traditional table massage. It is a quick massage when you don’t have time for a full service.

    • Highly mobile and small space compatible

    • Short Duration (10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 min sessions) 

    • Clothed and seated massage

    • The massage chair is comfortably designed to take the weight off the spine and give easy access to the head, neck, back, shoulders and arms. Clients will rest forward slightly, with their arms and legs supported and while a face cradle supports the client's head. No massage lotions or oils are necessary
